SUNRISE Remal Beach Resort (ex Melton Beach) ★★★★★

Everything was wonderful: the staff was very friendly and always helpful, the place and activities were great, and the food was fantastic. I greatly recommend it!

The only drawback I can think of was the beach itself: it was small and there was no space to have long walks. The coral reef runs up to the shore, which is beautiful, but it prevents you from having a bath since, you are not allowed to swim over it (rightly so, to protect the environment). There is a place where you can bath on the sea, but it's tiny, and you cannot leave it because of the boats passing close by

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Extremely clean and comfortable room. We loved every single detail in the hotel-design. Everything looked really new. The food was to our expectation.

construction work was bothering a lot , manager did not accept to extend my stay one more night which was very rude although the Hotel was almost empty

I was almost about to like everything but since the receptionist after consulting the manager rejected to extend my stay although the hotel was 60% empty, that was something very unpleasant and rather unprofessional

Our experience was outstanding. From the delicious food to the customer service, accommodations, Revive Spa and the beautiful beach, we can’t say enough good things. There were activities planned for adults and children or you could choose to have a quiet time on the beach or relax by an “Adults 16+ only pool” and soak up the sun. We enjoyed snorkeling, a Disco for children, babysitting for your kids and the so much more. EVERY person we came in contact with was friendly and smiling. My mom was a customer service manager and I have been in customer service for 16+ years and it was, by far, the most amazing experience. We chose to go in the “off season” (early December) and found the weather to be very comfortable. Every day was just beautiful. The vistas from every point on the resort were lovely. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of it to exceed the expectations of anyone from any country. We ate mostly at the International Restaurant but also tried out the Thai Restaurant and Italian Restaurant which were just as fantastic. We met so many employees at the resort and everyone was kind, personable, professional, and remembered what we liked to drink and brought it to our table. When we had too many plates to carry, they were there to lend a helping hand. They went above and beyond and we simply have to list their names below and hope that they receive the praise they so richly deserve. If we could give them each some kind of bonus, we would. We hope you will be fortunate enough to come into contact with them. We will absolutely come back to stay again. It is well worth the money. We were impressed on how hard-working everyone is. They were there before we arose at 7:00 a.m. and were still working until 10:00 p.m. They were always busy, serving the needs of others, and with a smile and great attitude at all times. This includes security individuals, grounds keepers, and so many more.

First of all, I want to thank all the staff at this beautiful lovely place SUNRISE REMAL BEACH as from the entrance you will feel like u r at your home .. every person treats you like u r special ,giving u anything and what you want so that you can feel joy and happiness .. Second, I want to thank all the restaurant staff especially Mr. Moh. Rabiee , Mr. Shenoda and Mr. Ghonem for the special lovely romantic dinner which I feel like I have a romantic date with my wife .. Finally, it was my first time at this gorgeous place and it will not be the last as I really enjoyed my stay and hopefully I will be here again very soon ..

Very relaxed, quiet hotel with most beautiful views of the coast. I received a free upgrade on arrival with a sea view and a swimming pool. Every detail was taken care off, the room was fantastic, full bar, fruit, sweets and coffee facilities. The staff was very friendly, kind and attentive. I have stayed in many places in Sharm but Sunrise Remal Beach was exceptional I will be definitely going back.

It had some serious building work done next door but to be honest it did not affect my stay at all

Best holiday we ever had! Everything was perfect: great variety of food&drinks, services, pools, room&view, cleaning, staff was super nice and helpful, corals & fish are beautiful, entertainment day&night, shops in the hotel (mini market with local sweets & snacks, sunglasses & jewellery, perfume shop with oils, teas and spices, etc). The hotel is close to the airport (10 minutes by taxi), but it is not disturbing or noisy at all. The corals and fish are amazing!!! You can only go into the water through a not very long jetty (we could see longer ones in the neighbour hotels), however there is a small sandy beach but the water is shallow, and you can't go deeper due to the corals. Unfortunately, many people tried to get into the water through the corals, which destroys the corals, that's why I mention it. Hotel offers diving services as well for extra charge, but snorkeling is more than enough, we could see hundreds of different kind of fish all the time during snorkeling, smaller and 1meter long ones as well, and pink,blue, green, red, yellow corals. Every day we saw something new while snorkeling, it was amazing! Lots of sunbeds available by the pools and the beach as well. Evening entertainment was in the sister hotel (Sunrise Remal resort - 100meters walk or 2 minutes with the hotel bus), so this hotel (Beach) is more quiet, and in my opinion this hotel is better if you prefer relaxing more than to party. I highly recommend this hotel if you like snorkeling rather than just swimming in the sea, and if you like good food, good beer, and friendly & super helpful staff and want to have a relaxing holiday! We got a free upgrade from standard room to room with pool view, Thank you Sunrise Remal Beach! :-)

We had an amazing time here at Sunset Remal Beach! The structure was in a great position with a wonderful coral reef, we enjoyed snorkeling basically every day. The Resort is also extremely clean and tidy, but the thing we loved the most was the staff: everyone was so nice and helpful to us, but we wanted to mention especially Ahmed from reception, Mohammed and Ramy from buffet, your smile makes us want to come back :) Also the food, even being Italian, was not a problem for us as you have plenty of options.

Maybe some of the staff from excursions was a bit too insistent, but it's not too big of a problem.

The cleanings could have been much better. The restaurant doesn't care for a European standard. Me and my husband had a really bad diarrhea there.

service is not good, for ex the reception toke my IDs and forget to returned it back to me and I leaved the resort without tacking my IDs and when I comeback home, called the reception they confirmed the ID is there and will send to me in Cairo and till now I didn't receive it

Receptionist Ahmed was very helpful, restaurant team , the lobby lounge team,and the Life guard on the beach ( Mohammed ) really he was talking care of everyone was on the sweaming area of the beach
